Bebbington & Wilson has over the last 12 months experienced a period of growth and has now taken on two new apprentices as well as appointing a new Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Manager to oversee its management systems and ensure high standards of quality are maintained throughout every aspect of the business.
Twenty nine year old, Health & Safety professional Simon Hesketh, is now in charge of the running and continuous improvement of the health and safety, environmental and quality policies and action plans. In addition to ensuring compliance with Bebbington & Wilson Ltd.’s ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems in his new role as SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality) Manager at the firm.
Bringing with him a wealth of specialist expertise gained from working within the Royal Navy over the last four years, together with a commitment to promoting a positive safety culture and high systems standard, he describes his new position as an exciting new role. It involves the management of SHEQ matters across the business, including enabling all staff to comply with the requirements of the company’s SHEQ policies and procedures.
“Bebbington & Wilson has already achieved the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and earlier this year the company were awarded accreditation from safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety, but the challenge is to continuously better ourselves,” Simon Hesketh explains.
Director Ray Wilson says: “Simon joins a loyal company and, just as we were when we employed our newest apprentices, we are delighted to have hired Simon as he is a true professional.
“He will make a significant contribution to the Bebbington & Wilson Team in strengthening our Business Management Systems and protecting our employees, whilst meeting the expectations of our clients in delivering a quality service.
“We invest in each and every employee in terms of personal development, training, promotion opportunities, and continual support to ensure everyone can work to the best of their abilities and to the highest standards.”
